Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Review

I would like to kick things off with a personal review of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius mobile game global version. First thing to know about this game is it is a summoning (pulling for characters) game. The final fantasy series is a JRPG series, but this game combines everything about the world of fantasy into a single game, with events that link themselves with other final fantasy game. It is a relaxing and sometimes challenging game at higher difficulty. It is not a game where you need to be skilled in timing of button presses on your phone, but rather use your brain to activate skills and attacks that will win you the battle.

It is somewhat important to find stronger friend units in the game that can carry you or help you during tough boss battles, but the game is very easy and forgiving in the beginning.

For new players and old players the ffbe wiki site is a fantastic way to keep track of quests and read up on information about the game. I won’t recommend spending money until you are rank 90 in the game because by that time, you would know the game mechanics and lapis refill for energy will be quite efficient at +100 for 100 lapis (in game currency). I remain free to play till this day and I have pulled three 5 star characters so far with 30+ 6 star evolved characters.

Pros:

1. Free to play JRPG with a twist

2. community is strong with lots of pro gamers and streamers

3. you can clearly see your progress in game

4. story driven and old school 16-bit graphics ( if you like it =p)

Cons:

1. Lots of Whales in the game, but doesn’t affect your own progress

2. player-versus-player is a gimmick (if you want to truly play with someone it is quite a mediocre experience)

3. rewards not as good compared with the japanese version

4. 5 star summon rates are terrible and it is up to the RNG gods
